FAQ
Of course it matters.
For gut microbes, the human body is an ecosystem, and the diversity of the ecosystem can be an important measure of health.
Primitive tribes in the Amazon or Africa have a very high diversity index because they get their food from nature, but Amazonians don’t live longer, healthier lives than civilized people, so diversity alone is not a good measure of gut health. The distribution of good and bad bacteria, and a range of health conditions, should be taken into account.
It is very dangerous to judge a person’s health based on a single aspect.
The microbiome is a critical component of health, but it’s not the whole story.
To see long-term effects, it is important to take it consistently. It is known that it usually takes about 8 weeks for lactic acid bacteria to settle in the intestines. There is no limit to the intake period.
Experts vary, but most recommend taking it 30 minutes before a meal when your stomach acid levels are low, or between meals or immediately after a meal when foods can help reduce stomach acid. And most importantly, be consistent.
There is no set age for taking probiotics, but it is generally recommended to start taking them after starting to eat solid foods. Excessive intake is not recommended to maintain the balance of intestinal microflora.
If you have constipation or want to manage your intestinal health, we recommend ‘Intestinal Health iJump G’, and if you have irritable bowel symptoms or frequent diarrhea, we recommend the unsweetened ‘Sensitive iJump S’.
Of course it’s important.
The human body is an ecosystem for gut microbes, and the diversity of that ecosystem can be an important indicator of health.
However, diversity is not the only criterion for judging the microbiome. Primitive tribes in the Amazon or Africa have a very high diversity index because they take food from nature. However, Amazonians do not live longer and healthier than civilized people. Therefore, it is unreasonable to measure gut health based on diversity alone. The distribution of beneficial and harmful bacteria and various health conditions should be comprehensively considered.
It is extremely dangerous to judge a person’s health based on just one aspect, because while the microbiome is a very important factor in health, it is not everything.
